Since then I want to spend time listening
to this CBers with the "walkie-talkie" or with a radio-cassette Sanyo that
I have.
About 1991 I could have a CB radio of Intek:40
channels and modes AM-FM, but with this equipment I spent good time with
local CBers.
I started to do DX on the 11 meters about1995.
My first contact was with the station Wankenovi(operador
Luciano) from Santa Cruz de Tenerife Island, in the Canary Islands.
Since then I have worked more than 100 divisions.
The most "long distance" contact for me is with Ari(91SD101), in Island of Java, in Indonesia.
I always works with this very simple working conditions:
* Transceiver: Super Star 3900
* Antenna: Vertical 5/8
* Linear amplifier:NO
* Standard microphone from the Super Star
3900
As you can see, it is a very simple working conditions. With time I would like to have a Yagi antenna.
I also would like to work these divisions:
* 43 Australia.
* 140 Antártida.
I am member of the IR group since February
1999. My first contact with this call was with the station of the Bahamas
121IR391(James).
I have worked these divisions with member
of the IR group:
* 1 Italy
* 2 United States
* 7 Netherland Antilles
* 13 Germany
* 14 France
* 19 Holland
* 26 United Kingdom
* 36 San Marino
* 73 Surinam
* 91 Indonesia
* 121 Bahamas Islands
* 158 Trinidad and Tobago
* 205 Cape Verde
I hope very soon to speak with your station.
I also have a receiver model Sangean ATS-909.
It listen on Short Wave and covers from 0.15 to 30 Mhz, with AM, USB and
LSB.
With this receiver I can listen radio stations
from all over the world. It is also possible to listen commercial stations,
but I prefer to listen the radio-operators from the 11 meter band and from
HAM bands.
