The INTERNATIONAL RADIO DX GROUP (IRDX) was founded as the eleven-meters part of the INTERNATIONAL RADIO CLUB (HAM-Radioclub). This Club is based in Sidney - Australia and was founded by Tommy (43IR01) on 13´th of march in 1994.

At the end of 1997 the eleven-meters part of IRDX CLUB known as IRDX Group was taken by Max (2IR123) who was appointed President and lived in New York USA, prior to moving to Miami Florida. Max as he was forced to quit his position as President of 11-meters and the IRDX HQ due to his job. He has left Miami USA to live and work on an island in the Pacific.

During April 1998 Max handed the group over to the current President Jan (19IR01) who resides in Holland. Jan and his team was very busy with re-organize the IRDX Group. He took over the job as QSL-Manager too and confirmed IRDX-Activations like 37IR0, 50IR0, 115IR0, 140IR-DX ,173IR0, 200IR0, 221IR0, 248IR0, 316IR0, 319IR0.
